Like many websites, our Site uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Site. Your IP address is also used to help identify you and your shopping cart and to gather broad demographic information.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to recognize your browser, identify your usage patterns across multiple pages within or across one or more sessions, to customize content for you on our Site, and for storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits. We may use also use cookies to gather aggregate information about whether and how many times our web pages have been browsed.

The Types of Cookies We Use and Examples of How We Use Them

  1. Session Cookies: temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the website. Some examples of how we use session cookies include:
    • To allow you to carry information across pages of our Site and to avoid having you re-enter information every time you navigate to a new page, such as logging in on every page.
    • During the purchase process so that we can remember the items you have added to your Shopping Cart.
  2. Persistent Cookies: cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser for much longer (though how long will depend on the lifetime of the specific cookie). Some examples of how we use persistent cookies include:
    • To compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how users use our Site, and to help us improve the structure of our Site.
    • To store your preferences.
  3. Flash Cookies: cookies that are not stored in your browser and that are placed on your computer by websites that use Adobe Flash. Flash cookies are also known as Local Storage Objects ("Flash LSOs"). Some examples of how we use Flash LSOs include:

Third-Party Advertisers&Cookies

We use third-party advertisers to help us display tailored content to users, to serve ads on our behalf, and to determine and track traffic on our Site coming in from advertisement banners that have been placed on third parties' websites. These advertisers may also utilize cookies and/or action tags to measure effectiveness, efficiencies or other information about the web pages you visit and may collect certain non-personal information about you. For example, these advertisers may use the information they gather about your visits to our Site and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you or to gauge the effectiveness of the advertisements they deliver.

Third-party advertisers may collect other information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw and/or clicked on the advertisements they deliver, and possibly associate this information with your subsequent visits to the advertised websites. They also may combine this information with other PII they collect from you. The collection and use of such information by a third-party advertiser is subject to that third-party advertiser's privacy policy.

Some of these third-party advertising companies may be members of the Network Advertising Initiative, which offers a single location to opt out of ad targeting from member companies.

Disabling Cookies and Action Tags

The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your computer from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. However, Flash LSOs or Flash cookies are not stored through your browser. For more information on Flash LSOs or Flash cookies, or to learn how to manage your settings for Flash cookies, go to the Adobe Flash Player Help Page, choose "Global Storage Settings Panel" and follow the instructions. To see the Flash LSOs currently on your computer, choose "Website Storage Settings Panel" and follow the instructions to review and, if you choose, to delete any specific Flash LSO. Should you wish to opt-out of providing non-personal information to action tags, you may do so by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative's consumer opt-out page by clicking here. However, some of the features of our Site will not function properly without the use of cookies and/or action tags. For example, if you set your browser to reject cookies, our Site will not be able to recognize your cart, your account, or any personalization. Please keep in mind that if you use a different browser or buy a new computer, you will need to renew your opt-out choices.
